About
With a vision to impact a city, Pastor Bert Phagan moved his family, in the fall of 1996, from Florida to become missionaries to Brussels, Belgium. Prayer groups were started immediately with two families. In January 1997, the 457 Avenue Louise location was obtained, and services were begun. As time passed, services were added on Wednesday, Friday, and multiple services on Sunday. Growth necessitated a new building. On finding the Anderlecht location, it seemed the perfect solution. The city proved to be a worthy obstacle. With much prayer, work, and plain stubbornness, the doors were opened for the church over a year after first locating the building. God continues to bless the organization, and continues to add to our numbers. Outreach is one of the main thrusts of the ministry including street concerts, coffeehouses, refugee ministry, and people group meetings. Praise Center is a center of nations gathered in one voice. All people, no matter what ethnic, social, or religious background are welcome. We come together for one purpose, JESUS. Come join us at one of our many meetings.
